These Terms of Use govern your use of After the Verse (“the App”), related websites, and optional notification texts sent by Joshua D’Alessio (“we,” “us”). By using the App or opting in to texts, you agree to these Terms.
The App
After the Verse is a Bible companion for personal study and group leaders. Scripture text is provided for personal, non-commercial use under the applicable Bible translation license. Features may change as we improve the App.
Optional Groups and Plus
Groups are optional and use our cloud API so members can share passages. Plus features, when sold, are billed through the app store; store terms also apply. We do not provide legal or pastoral advice.
SMS and notifications
Optional texts from Joshua D’Alessio (After the Verse) are about new Between the Verses videos. You opt in only on the public SMS consent page by entering your name and mobile number and checking an unchecked box. Consent is not a condition of using the App, and it is not transferred from another business.
Message frequency is occasional, not a fixed daily blast — typically a few texts a week when a video goes public. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the App or Groups (including abuse, spam, or illegal activity). We may remove content or restrict access when needed to keep the service safe.
Disclaimer
The App and related services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App or texts.
